Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to lacross.art and your purchase of products offered through the website. The website and shop are operated under the artist name Harris La Cross from the Republic of Cyprus. References to “we,” “us” or “our” mean the operator of lacross.art. References to “you” or “your” mean a website visitor or customer.

By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Copyright & Usage Rights.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

Eligibility to Purchase

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order.

If you are under the legal age of majority, an order may be placed only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied during checkout is complete and accurate.

Products

The shop offers physical fine-art prints reproduced from original mixed-media artworks. Unless a product page expressly states otherwise:

• Prints are produced on premium textured fine-art paper

• Prints are supplied unframed

• Products are made to order

• No digital artwork file is included

• Standard products are open-edition prints

• A Certificate of Authenticity is not included

  
  

Available materials, dimensions and other product-specific information are displayed on the relevant product page. Product Images and Color Variations. We make reasonable efforts to present every artwork, color, proportion and product description accurately.

However, the appearance of colors may vary depending on screen settings, device calibration, lighting and browser configuration. Printed colors may also vary slightly from their appearance on a digital screen because physical inks and textured paper reproduce light and color differently. Minor variations in color, positioning, dimensions, print placement or finishing may occur as a normal result of the production process. Such variations do not affect the authenticity of the artwork and are not necessarily manufacturing defects.

Sizes and Framing

Available print sizes are stated on each product page and are currently displayed in inches. Customers are responsible for selecting the correct artwork and size before completing an order. Measurements should be reviewed carefully before purchasing or arranging a frame.

Prints are supplied unframed unless the product description expressly states otherwise. Any framing shown in product images or lifestyle mockups is for presentation purposes only.

Prices and Taxes

All prices are displayed in United States dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

Applicable sales tax or other charges may be calculated and displayed during checkout where required. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of a technical, typographical or system error, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Payment

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout and its authorized payment providers.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing and payment information. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information.

Orders & Order Acceptance

After placing an order, you should receive an electronic order confirmation. This confirms that the order has been received but does not prevent us from reviewing it for payment, address, availability, pricing or fraud-related issues. We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

• Failed or unauthorized payment

• Suspected fraud or misuse

• Incorrect pricing or product information

• An incomplete or undeliverable address

• Production or material unavailability

• A technical or system error

• A violation of these Terms and Conditions

If an order is cancelled after payment has been collected, the appropriate amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Made-to-Order Production

Each print is produced individually after an order is submitted.

Production normally begins shortly after the order is confirmed. Because the product is made to order, changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has started.

If you notice an error in your order or shipping information, please contact us immediately. We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after it has entered production.

Shipping and Delivery

During the initial launch phase, orders are accepted only for delivery to eligible addresses within the United States. Standard US shipping is included in the product price unless otherwise stated during checkout.

Production and delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Delays may occur because of production demand, carrier operations, weather, public holidays, incorrect addresses or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Tracking information will be provided when available. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional costs resulting from an incorrect, incomplete or undeliverable address may be charged to the customer where permitted by law. Complete information is available in the Shipping Policy.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Missing Products

Please inspect your order after delivery. If a product arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within the period stated in the Returns & Refunds Policy. Include your order number and clear photographs showing the product, packaging and reported problem.

Eligible cases may be resolved through a replacement or refund, as appropriate. Issues involving delivery loss, non-delivery or tracking discrepancies should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Returns, replacements, refunds and order cancellations are governed by the Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any mandatory consumer right or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual Property

All artworks, images, written descriptions, graphics, branding and other original material displayed on lacross.art are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual-property laws. Purchasing a print transfers ownership of that particular physical print. It does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights or commercial-use rights in the artwork.

Permitted Website Use

You may use the website for lawful personal purposes, including viewing artworks, obtaining information, contacting us and purchasing available products.

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, checkout or connected systems

• Introduce malicious code, viruses or harmful material

• Interfere with the website’s security, availability or operation

• Use automated systems to scrape, copy or extract website content without permission

• Use false information or another person’s identity

• Place fraudulent orders or misuse payment systems

• Copy or commercially exploit website content or artwork

• Use the website in violation of applicable law or the rights of another person

We may restrict access or cancel affected orders where misuse is reasonably suspected.

Third-Party Services & Links

The website relies on third-party services, including Framer, Shopify, Printify, payment providers, production partners and shipping carriers. These providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices to services they independently provide.

The website may also contain links to external websites or social-media platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, content, security or practices of independent third-party websites.

Website Availability

We try to keep the website accurate, secure and available. However, uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. We may update, suspend or modify parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or the purchase of a product, including loss of income, profit, opportunity or data. Our total liability relating to a particular order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where a greater liability is required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct or any mandatory consumer right.

Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, carrier disruption, labor disputes, supply shortages, internet or platform outages, government action or other exceptional events.

We will make reasonable efforts to reduce the effect of such circumstances and complete or resolve affected orders where possible.

Privacy

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

By using the website or placing an order, you acknowledge that information may be processed by the service providers needed to operate the website, process payment, produce the print and deliver the order.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply under the laws of your place of residence. Any dispute will be handled by a court with lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising a right or remedy that cannot legally be restricted by contract.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

No Waiver

A failure or delay in enforcing any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it later.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated to reflect changes in products, services, providers, business practices or legal requirements.

Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Changes will not retroactively alter the terms governing an order that was already accepted, unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
