Copyright Protection

All artworks, images, designs, written descriptions and other original creative material displayed on lacross.art are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual-property laws.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all copyright and intellectual-property rights remain the exclusive property of Harris La Cross.

Ownership of a Purchased Print

When you purchase a fine-art print, you become the owner of that particular physical print. Ownership of the physical print does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, commercial rights or any other intellectual-property rights in the artwork.

The purchase does not include a digital file of the artwork unless this is expressly stated on the relevant product page.

What You May Do

As the lawful owner of a physical print, you may:

• Display the print in your home, office or another space under your control

• Frame the print according to your personal preferences

• Give the physical print to another person

• Resell or otherwise transfer ownership of that particular physical print

• Share personal photographs showing the print in your home or surroundings, provided they are not presented as high-resolution reproductions or used for commercial exploitation

If the physical print is gifted or resold, copyright and all other intellectual-property rights in the artwork remain with Harris La Cross.

What You May Not Do

Without prior written permission, you may not:

• Scan, photograph or otherwise reproduce the artwork for the purpose of creating copies

• Print, manufacture or distribute additional copies of the artwork

• Share, upload, sell or distribute high-resolution digital reproductions

• Use the artwork on products, merchandise, packaging or promotional materials

• Use the artwork in advertising, branding or other commercial activity

• Modify, adapt or create derivative works for distribution or commercial use

• Upload the artwork to stock-image websites, print-on-demand services, marketplaces or file-sharing platforms

• Use the artwork to create NFTs, digital collectibles or similar digital assets

• Use the artwork or its reproductions for training artificial-intelligence systems without prior written permission

• Claim authorship of the artwork or present it as your own creation

• Remove, conceal or misrepresent the artist’s signature, attribution or copyright information in any reproduction

Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict uses that are expressly permitted by applicable copyright law.

Website Images

Images displayed on lacross.art are provided for viewing, product presentation and purchasing decisions.

Their presence on the website does not grant permission to download, copy, publish, reproduce or use them elsewhere, except where permitted by applicable law or authorized in writing.

Links to individual artwork or product pages may be shared through social media, email or other personal communications.

Certificates and Editions

Where a print is sold as part of a limited or exclusive edition, any edition number or Certificate of Authenticity applies only to the physical print identified by that documentation.

A Certificate of Authenticity does not transfer copyright or grant reproduction or commercial-use rights.

Standard open-edition prints do not include a Certificate of Authenticity unless the product page specifically states otherwise.

Commercial Licensing

Commercial licensing may be available for selected artworks.

Anyone wishing to reproduce or use an artwork for publishing, advertising, products, merchandise, media, exhibitions or another commercial purpose must obtain written permission in advance.

Unauthorized Use

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, commercial use or misrepresentation of an artwork may constitute copyright or intellectual-property infringement.

Harris La Cross reserves the right to request the removal of unauthorized material and to take appropriate action to protect the artwork and associated rights.
